National Carrier Day honors Herald paperboys and girls
National Carrier Day is celebrated with emphasis on Herald carriers who deliver the paper each afternoon. About 30 youths work routes, buy papers, and collect payments, keeping profits for their vehicle and supplies. Five standout carriers were named for the year, led by grand award winner Don Sellers.
