Murder hearing set in Jones triple homicide case
Prosecutors told a judge they need about three-quarters of a day to present evidence at a preliminary hearing on three counts of first degree murder for Christopher E. Jones and one count of aggravated battery for stabbing his wife Catherine. Jones, 46, appeared in orange jail clothes as Judge Carl B. Anderson Jr. read charges and kept bond at 3.5 million dollars. The hearing is scheduled for December 13, with defense concerns about time to prepare.
