Area man injured in wind storm near Williamsburg
A 58 year old rural Williamsburg man, Gerald Nitchals, was listed in serious condition after his mobile home overturned in high winds just after midnight. He crawled to his damaged pickup, stayed there until neighbors and the Williamsburg- Homewood Township fire department found him. He was treated in Kansas City at the University of Kansas Medical Center after transfer from Anderson County Hospital in Gannett. He suffered scrapes and bruises and remained in guarded condition due to prior health issues. Power outages were reported in the Princeton area but no further county damage.
