DeLay Rebuked Twice By House Ethics Panel Over Conduct
The House ethics committee admonished Texas House Majority Leader Tom DeLay for questionable conduct involving donor access to energy legislation and pressuring FAA to involve itself in a Texas political dispute. The panel also cited a prior warning in 1999 and noted the back-to-back admonitions while stressing the need to temper his actions.
