Washington AP reports cattle prices have risen slightly from summer lows but remain about 40 per head below early July peak and may hold through winter. Demand for meat supports a steady outlook while live stock data show pork output down but rebounding. Hog producers plan expansion next year with rising prices. forecasts indicate fall prices above 1971-12 averages. The Agriculture Department will reveal 1973 feed grains acreage set-aside late this year as export demand boosts corn and sorghum needs.
