City Commission approves several projects and hires in fall session
The City Commission reviewed special assessments and bond plans for Skunk Run work, approved a Fifth Street resurfacing change order, and retained planner Myles Schachter as city consultant. They authorized a library renovation bid by Rule & Shrum Construction, with $150 000 bonds and $122 984 bid, aiming to preserve the 1903 building. Other actions included parade, Halloween event permits, proclamations, and an I-2 to R-2 rezoning. All votes were unanimous.
