Ottawa Officer Geist Retires After 19 Years of Service
In Ottawa a large crowd gathered at the Fire Department to honor Officer Geist upon his retirement after nearly two decades. He reflected on the strain of duty, urged new officers to engage with the public, and advised treating policing as a career with pride while considering golf for leisure. He emphasized balancing duty with understanding and compassion for the community and families affected by loss.
