Royals Rally To Top Yankees 10 4 In Midweek NLCS Game
The crowd of 41,000 at Royals Stadium absorbed a subdued afternoon as Kansas City routed New York 10 to 4. Grass versus artificial turf is debated with Yankee players noting the field may slow KC’s pace. KC trails 3-3 in Yankee Stadium this season. Reggie Jackson’s on base streak ends with Hal Hrabosky strikeout. Chris Chambliss leads the Yanks with four hits and hot bat in the series.
