Roy Orval Taylor 87 longtime Peoria area resident died October 3 1990 in Crestview Nursing Home Ottawa. Funeral at Dengel and Son Mortuary October 6 with Rev Henry Roberts Jr officiating. burial Peoria Cemetery. Survived by two sons Oliver and Roy E Taylor three daughters Frances Katherine Ira 17 grandchildren 36 great grandchildren six great great grandchildren. He later lived in Ottawa farmed in Rantoul area and worked at Sunflower Ordnance Plant Desoto Ottawa Steel plant superintendent and inspector. He was born April 12 1903 Baxter Springs Kansas to Oliver Wesley and Sarah Elizabeth Rich Taylor. He married Ida May Taylor December 24 1920. she died February 25 1990. He was a member of the United Brethren Church formerly in Peoria. Friends may call Friday at Dengel and Son Mortuary with a Friday 7 to 8 pm visitation.
