Richmond woman battered by known assailant prompts probe
At 5:54 a.m. on Tuesday in Richmond police filed a report of domestic assault by a 34-year-old Iola woman against a 20-year-old Richmond woman. The case will be forwarded to the county attorney for possible prosecution. At 9:01 p.m. in Ottawa a traffic stop led to a chase after Dustin Johnson, 23, used a fake Kansas license and fled. the vehicle was recovered, Johnson remains at large and faces a parole-warrant threat from the Department of Corrections.
