Shawnee County Health Agency warns anyone who ate at the Burger King at 37th and Topeka Blvd after 5 p.m. on November 17, 19, 20, or 21 to contact the health line at 785 368 2122. An employee with hepatitis A handled uncooked food during those evenings. Free Immune Globulin is available, and clinics at 1615 SW 8th in Topeka will run today until 5 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for immunizations.

Fire destroys mobile home as children play with matches
Four Wadkins children aged 1 to 5 sparked a blaze at 239 N East Ave on Wednesday about 9 40 am. The mobile home and contents burned completely causing a total loss with no injuries to the mother Alicia Wadkins and the four boys who escaped. The family, uninsured, was buying the home on contract from a Topeka woman and is staying with relatives.
