Zoo hopes gifted orangutan will be ambassador
Chantek the 450 pound orangutan at Zoo Atlanta uses American Sign Language with at least 150 words. Trainers describe him as understanding signs and able to discuss unseen or future things. Zoo officials envision a million dollar amphitheater for interactive exhibits with Chantek and plan to share his language abilities with the world.
