Ottawa considers five year tax break for Heartland Wall Panels
Paola based Heartland Wall Panels seeks a five year property tax abatement to relocate to 3012 Osborne Terrace in Ottawa. The plan would reduce Ottawa county roughly 4000 and USD 290 district about 5000 in foregone taxes to support eight current employees and up to eight more with a second shift as revenue projection reaches 1.3 million in 2005. Commissioners want more company detail and longevity proof before approving any abatement.
