All area boys cross country selections honor Franklin County runners
Franklin County four prep schools dominated the fall cross country season with state qualifications and top finishes. Notables include Bailey with a 6th at Rim Rock and league regional titles, Ryan Haner 10th at 3A state and third regionals, Stevenson 12th at state with four top-five finishes, Cardin 7th regionals and 20th state, Cannady 6th regionals and 26th state, Meyer 8th regionals and 33rd state, Crawford 14th regional and 56th state, Whiteley top EL Eagles, Lutz 12th at 4A state, Kelter top Ott runner, Rodriguez 67th 4A state and Gomez helping Ottawa to state run.

All-Area Girls Cross Country Team Honors Announced
Six area runners earned postseason cross country honors as Franklin County teams showcased talent. Notable performances include Wellsville’s strong runner medal streak with a 17th at 3A state, regional champion, and All-Pioneer first team. Other top finishers include league and regional placers from Wellsville and West Franklin, Plus Paige and Lauren from Wellsville, and runners from Rossman and Curry achieving state meet appearances and league honors.
