Community Dinner Fills Void After School Event Ends
Volunteers prepared and served a free Thanksgiving meal open to all at North Baptist Church and Bethany Chapel Baptist Church. About 750 were planned, with 100 dining in the first hour and many more expected. The event, tied to the Free Food Fourth Friday, aims for food, fun and fellowship as a community gathering replacing the former Ottawa Middle School dinner.
