Washington Kneels at Valley Forge to Seek Divine Aid
A fragmented historical narrative recalls George Washington praying on ice during Valley Forge hardship. It mentions French aid after Saratoga, the 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation, and a call to remember Washington as a religious founding figure while urging continued faith and guidance. Linda Brown of The Ottawa Herald signs the piece.
