Multiple cultural events fill Ottawa area Saturday and Sunday. Kristian Harmony Night at Ottawa Municipal Auditorium features 20 acts including Voice of Praise and Pastors Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with a 2 p.m. toy ride by Franklin County Independent Bikers earlier. Sunday sees OU Symphonette at 3 p.m. and OU Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. in the OU chapel, both free, plus gallery and exhibit openings at local venues.

Bikers Plan Toys for Kids Ride and Party At 700 Club
Bikers announce two bands Straight Shot from Topeka and Blues Blasters from Baxter Springs and Joplin will perform at the Toys for Kids appreciation party at the 700 Club in Pomona. The seventh annual Toys for Kids Ride starts at 2 pm with riders gathering at Ottawa Wal-Mart parking lot and leaving at 2 30 pm. Admission is one new toy and post ride refreshments follow. Last year volunteers collected over 6000 in toys amid rain concerns about turnout.
