Kline Wins Kansas Attorney General Victory Narrow
Republican Phill Kline won the Kansas attorney general race with 412,686 votes to 408,390 for Democrat Chris Biggs. Biggs conceded and dropped a recount request, saying the margin above 0.5 percent would not justify a state-paid recount. The final tally, aided by provisional ballots across 105 counties, widened Kline’s lead to 4,296. Kline announces a transition team led by Dickinson County attorney Eric Rucker and adviser Bob Stephan to guide the handover from Carla Stovall.
