Student hostage standoff ends with teen gunman suicide
In Caro Michigan a 17-year-old student armed with a .22 rifle and a 20 gauge shotgun held a teacher and a 15-year-old girl for about three hours at the Adult Learning Center of Care. After negotiations he freed the girl for a pack of cigarettes, released the teacher, and then killed himself in a classroom around 6 p.m. No injuries reported among hostages.
