Veterans Day Events Across Ottawa and Forest Park

Veterans Day observances fill Forest Park Ottawa and city venues with a 5 p.m. healing field ceremony at 518 W Forest St and a 12 30 p m Civil War demonstration at the same park. A 1 p m WWII reenactment, a 2 p m and 5 p m USO show and a 3 p m to 4 p m static display are planned. VFW Post 5901 hosts a Friday Hamburger Nite with a $5 donation and family services support. A breakfast at Richmond Community Building runs 6 a m to 10 a m. Donations encouraged.

5th Avenue Jewelry Fair and Clinic Closures Notice

The 5th Avenue Jewelry Fair runs November 7 from 10 am to 6 pm with an additional November slot. Ransom Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and Ottawa Chiropractic Clinic will be closed November 9 10 and 11 while staff attend a Florida educational conference.
