Bush to rally with Ryun in Kansas visit
President Bush plans a last minute campaign swing to support Republican Rep. Jim Ryun in his bid for a sixth term in Kansas. The Kansas GOP says Bush will headline a Sunday rally in Topeka as Ryun trails Democrat Nancy Boyda in a tight race. The White House did not confirm the schedule.

In 2006 election fundraising, Kansas House incumbents mostly raised over 10,000 dollars from PACs and outspent challengers, with Bill Otto and Bill Shirley in the 9th District an exception as the challenger led in contributions.
