Royals extend win streak with dramatic Rangers finish
Hipolito Pichardo held Rangers scoreless in the ninth. Tom Goodwin singled to start the bottom of the inning, advanced on a bunt and a fielding error, but slipped. After bases were loaded, Oates moved McLemore to infield to chase an out, yet a wild throw by Rodriguez on a rundown allowed Coleman to score the decisive run.
