INDIANAPOLIS AP The absence of Janet Guthrie from practice for the Indianapolis 500 likely won’t reduce attendance for the 60th running of the race. Tony Hulman, longtime IMS owner, says ticket sales are better than in recent years and he expects full grandstands, with bleacher turnout in the infield considered a minor issue. Hulman notes IMS does not publicly release total attendance.
