Max W. Parks, 63, of El Dorado died May 24, 2013, at Susan B. Allen Hospital. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. May 29 at Welda Cemetery. Born March 1, 1950, in Garnett to Ross Eldon and Pansy Ellis Parks, he spent years in a state hospital and later lived in a group home in El Dorado until his death.
