Lifetime Pass To Enjoyment Announces Kansas Licenses

Kansas will offer the state’s first lifetime hunting and fishing licenses next week for residents at 200 dollars, 400 for a combination license. Applications will be at county clerks offices and KF&G offices with a possible July 1 drawing. Installment options exist and proceeds fund fish and wildlife work. A new group Outdoors Unlimited is formed, led by Ted Cunningham, to advocate for outdoor recreation. Pomona Reservoir will conduct a summer visitor-use survey to plan park development and funding. Spring fishing is dampened by rain but crappie and catfish reports remain strong at Pomona, Melvern, Clinton, and nearby lakes.

It covers legal protections for furbearers, game breeder licensing, reporting injured wildlife, and humane measures if destruction is necessary.
