Anderson County officials and St Luke's officials reviewed a joint contract with an eight year initial term and options for three five year renewals. St Luke's may withdraw after one year, while the local board can exit if acute care is no longer operated. Funding of about 217500 in 1997 comes from property tax and related levies, with 103500 in a special mill levy and 114000 from the general fund.
