MAP adapts to student ability, cuts testing time, and aligns with Kansas standards, though it costs more and requires computer labs. Gifted students may struggle as tests grow tougher with correct answers. The board also rescheduled Garfield Elementary renovations and approved a $287,000 Internet Protocol phone system upgrade for district schools.
