VFW and Eagles win two Ottawa youth games in one night
In Ottawa, VFW beat the Elks 13 to 10 and the Eagles defeated Kiwanis 12 to 1 as perfect weather finally cooperated. Jeff Brewer earned the VFW win while 14 year old Sean Patty closed out the Elks. Eric Lindsey pitched the Eagles to a 12 to 4 win with Lorne White and Lindsey among the multiple scorers.
