Trio of familiar faces joining Ottawa airport board

Ottawa city commissioners recommended Dr. Bud Gollier, Gene Ramsey, and Jeanny Sharp be added to the six member Airport Advisory Board. They would join Cal Lantis and others, serving three year terms once the June 5 vote approves the appointments. Interim airport manager Bryce Rea, a 2012 UCM graduate, started Jan. 24 as the city seeks a permanent fixed-base operator to replace Chuck LeMaster, who resigned in December. The board will also help select an operator and guide airport use for regional economic development this summer.
