Pomona Lake an outdoors gem
Pomona Lake offers fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, and trails at Pomona State Park in Osage County. Park manager Jeffrey Bender notes crappie and various bass as popular finds, with a new west trail near the beach and a nine hole disc golf course drawing visitors. The park, near Ottawa, features renovated Kansa Campground, shelter houses, and upcoming events such as a Kids Fishing Derby on June 7.
