Ottawa Woman Collects Antique Dolls For Parlor Display
Mrs. Harry Lindgren of 743 South Main showcases dozens of antique dolls in a Victorian parlor, some two feet tall with original and repurposed costumes. Dolls hail from France and Germany, include names like Maggie May and Mae West, and some are over 200 years old. Several sit at miniature pianos and organs, gathered with help from Walt Butler, with many worth 500 to 1000 dollars. Lindgren plans to gradually sell parts of her extensive antique collection and shop behind her home.
