Court Denies Return Of Stolen Gun In Small Claims
Magistrate Orville Steele denied John D. Collins's request to return a .357 Magnum seized after a Dec 22 search. The gun, found stolen in Louisville in 1976, was ruled not the property of Collins, who could not prove ownership or a valid release. The court denied both return and value, noting the gun remains confiscated as stolen property.
