IOC Ousts Rhodesia From Olympic Movement
Lausanne AP Rhodesia was expelled from the Olympic movement by a 41 to 23 vote for racial discrimination in sports. The IOC said Rhodesia must conform to IOC rules before recognition returns. The decision echoes 1970 South Africa exclusion and leaves 1972 Munich in suspense while Montreal 1976 looms.
