Tax Receipts Show March Gains Across Anderson Franklin Counties
Local sales tax receipts rose in March across Anderson and Franklin counties with several towns posting gains. Anderson County one cent tax $43,673.95 up 14 percent. Franklin County one and a half cent tax $78,071.49 up 15 percent. Ottawa half cent tax $77,799.42 down 9 percent. Other areas include Princeton Pomona Wellsville Williamsburg Baldwin Miami Osage Paola and Lawrence with varied increases. Fiscal year totals reflect mixed performance across municipalities.
