Motorhome Association Builds Nationwide Family Club
The Family Motor Coach Association FMCA began from a 1963 Maine eclipse rally by bus converted motorhomes. Now with 22 chapters and over 10 000 member families it has grown into a multi million dollar industry. FMCA members travel 12 000 miles yearly with vehicles ranging 18 to 30 feet priced 12000 to 125000. Last July 1450 coaches gathered in Burlington Vermont for the 9th annual convention with participants from 44 states plus Europe and Saudi Arabia.
