Reason For Bill To Smile Reason For Bill To Smile
Coach Bill Boucek had plenty to smile about after Saturdays ECAC track meet. He loses only two seniors from a team that placed second to a senior heavy Southwestern squad. Tom Kinder and Kenny Smart excelled in their final collegiate outing on the cinders. Boucek's mile relay team matched Southwestern's record time with one junior, two freshmen and a sophomore. Southwestern later took firsts from Ottawa in the mile relay and the 2 Mile. OU competitors posted season bests across events, hinting at stronger seasons ahead.
