Franklin County Commission approves multiple plats and actions
Franklin County Board of Commissioners met in regular session led by Chairman Taylor with five members present. Actions included approval of replat requests for Pleasant Valley Lot 4 and Prairie Meadows Subdivision, approval of Central Estates No 3 final plat, and Jackson Heights subdivision with easements. Utilities bids for chip seal oil were opened and awarded to Vance Brothers and Harbour Construction. Public notices included a National Day of Prayer request and a public hearing on annexation of Wildcat 1 Addition. An executive session addressed personnel and contract matters. The meeting closed with a tree planting on the courthouse lawn commemorating the Kansas Nebraska Act anniversary.
