County roads in Miami to be improved
Two long road projects in Miami County will start May 26 under the Kansas Department of Transportation plan. K-68 from K-68 and K-33 to the Kansas Missouri border and US-169 from K-7 south of Osawatomie to K-68 north of Paola will be widened by three feet each side and resurfaced with a three inch asphalt base. Traffic will remain allowed, but delays and detours may occur. Each project is expected to take about three months, with US-169 also milling the surface to a smoother plane.
