Toys From Ottawa Facility Make Wooden Toys For Kids
The Franklin County Rehabilitation Facility and partners will produce wooden toys and puzzles for Christmas and birthdays. Workers, including 18 clients with pay rates from 1.30 to 2.65 per hour, craft whale and train shaped puzzles and various wooden toys using band saws and routers. Production expands to Osage City and Lawrence facilities as orders grow for national demand.
