Audit finds Colorado football coaches billed beer to university

An audit of University of Colorado football expenses shows coaches regularly charged the school for beer delivered to hotel rooms before away games, totaling at least 1465 since 1999. It also notes alcohol charged to parents at recruit dinners, a policy violation, and a separate $608 in university cell phone calls to an escort service by a former recruiting coordinator. The report, part of an ongoing investigation into recruiting practices, will be given to an independent commission.
