Tours suspended after lion bites zookeeper's arm
Busch Gardens Tampa has halted private tours and will revise safety policies after a 364-pound African lion named Max bit off zookeeper Amanda Bourassa's arm during a routine feeding. Bourassa, 21, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with the severed limb but surgeons could not reattach it.

Two eighth graders rescue ducklings from sewer in Milwaukee
In Milwaukee on Mother's Day, Adrian Crawford and Adam Lankford freed a mother duck's dozen ducklings from a storm sewer. They pried off a heavy manhole lid with Officer Gregg Fritz’s help, then crawled in to lift the birds to safety. The Ducks were released later in Jackson Park with the Humane Society's assistance.
