Japanese probe launches first asteroid sample mission

TOKYO AP reports Japan launched the Muses-C spacecraft on a four year 400 million mile mission to collect samples from a near Earth asteroid. The unmanned craft will reach the asteroid 1998 SF36 in about two years and return two years later if successful.
