Wellsville High School Junior Senior Banquet Highlights
The Wellsville Junior class hosted a Senior banquet in the gym with theme South of the Border. Decorations featured a rock wall roses and two sleeping ciesta figures. Favors were miniature Mexican hats and the junior mothers prepared the meal served by sophomores.

Patrol Reports Most Speeding Is At Night
Topeka dispatch notes that most speeding arrests occur at night under Kansas new 1957 limits. Maj. Walter Dunn of the State Highway Patrol cited incomplete reports from 3 of 71 districts showing 14 night speeding arrests and 2 daytime in a four day span. The daytime limit is 70 mph and 60 mph at night for passenger cars.
