Princeton Unit Spruces City Hall Through Community Work
The Princeton Workers Home Demonstration Unit, formed in 1943, has maintained City Hall for nearly 20 years. They repapered, refinished floors, tuned the piano, built built ins in the kitchen, sheet rocked walls, painted, and added cafe style draperies. The 4-H Club assisted with painting and supplied equipment, with five charter members still active. Elections and meetings continue to be held in the refreshed hall.
