Brad Shahan, a 6 foot 4 guard from Chase County, signed to play basketball at Ottawa University. He averaged 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game as a senior, earned first team all league honors and 2A all state honorable mention, and played in area all star games. OU coach Andy Carrier praised his size, shooting and athleticism and said he will major in secondary education.
