Garden pond dreams and family memories bloom
A reflective piece recalls Aunt Lucille’s garden pond with large goldfish, grape jelly, and creative Cousin Darlene. The narrator’s wish for a pond grows from childhood visits, followed by decades of fish bowls and a coming Mother’s Day garden pond built by family. The tale blends nostalgia, parenting jabs, and a neighborly backdrop.
