NHTSA probes Chrysler minivan antilock brake failures
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it is investigating reports of antilock brakes failing in some Chrysler minivans. In its defect report it noted 42 complaints of excessive stopping distances or brake failure, with two deaths linked to five accidents. The models under review include 1991 to 1993 Grand Voyager, Caravan, Caravan C V, Grand Caravan, and Town and Country.
