Subway firebomber sentenced to 94 years in prison
Edward Leary, a 50 year old unemployed computer programmer, was given the maximum 94 year sentence by Judge Rena Aviller for firebombing two New York subway trains in December 1994. The attacks injured about 50 people and the judge rejected his apology noting the acts harmed many lives.

City approves 13th extension to file action
City leaders authorize assistant city attorney Bob Bezek to file in Franklin County District Court to vacate a court order limiting public comment by law enforcement on criminal cases. City Manager Scott Lambers noted no cost estimate due to court actions.
