Hartpence age 84 of Ottawa died March 26 2003 at home Funeral services 2 pm Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary He lived in Franklin County worked as a mechanic and at Cities Service Gas Co He married Frances Van Valkenburg then Nona Lee Johnson He survived by his wife children stepchildren and grandchildren Gladys Dorothy Hartford age 86 Osawatomie died March 26 2003 at Country Club Estates Funeral services 1 30 pm Saturday at Eddy Birchard Funeral Home She grew up in Coldwater Osawatomie resident since 1923 and worked at Osawatomie State Hospital She married William Clayton Hartford He preceded her in death They are survived by two sons a daughter a brother seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
