Anna K Hey 82 of Baldwin died Monday March 26 2001 at home Cremation and memorial services set for 10:30 am Thursday at First United Methodist Baldwin She was born in Patterson New Jersey to Christine Hollis and Jacob Kuntz and married Lester Hey in Patterson May 15 1942 He survives They moved to Baldwin in 1947 and she held multiple community roles including founder of Valley High Council of the Girl Scouts Survivors include son Bob Hey and three daughters Marilyn Duncan Sharon Minkes Sally Meador with ten grandchildren Memorials to Anna Hey Scholarship Fund. Disney to cut 4000 jobs in downturn plan
Walt Disney Co plans to cut about 4,000 full time positions, roughly 3 percent of its workforce, in efforts to trim costs. In a letter to fellow cast members Michael Eisner and Robert Iger said cuts will occur by July across all divisions, with severance incentives offered but layoffs possible if voluntary reductions fail by end of April. The move targets corporate staff in Burbank and a total workforce of about 120,000, including 55,000 in Orlando, aiming to save 350 to 400 million dollars annually.
